This is the location where Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, providing an ideal opportunity to reflect upon and to educate young people about our history. Memphis also has a ton to offer sports lovers. The beloved Redbirds baseball team plays at AutoZone Park, which is a great way to soak up the local culture. The city hosts state baseball tournaments and footballs Liberty Bowl and often plays host for games during March Madness at the University of Memphis.
