The Lakes Hotel and Conference Centre, East of Johannesburg, is conveniently situated 10 minutes away from OR Tambo International Airport. The Lakes Hotel has 144 air-conditioned, comfortably styled rooms, with well established conference facilities, and function rooms that cater for most needs. Guests can park their cars in the ample and secure parking areas situated around the hotel. The hotel originally started as a 16 bed roomed Country Lake Inn Hotel and has grown to 144 rooms over the years, with many different stages of alterations. The hotel has been a local treasure for many people, as it is a beautiful setting for wedding receptions. This hotel is one of the most well known hotels in this area as it is built along the banks of the natural lakes of Benoni, and can be seen from the N12 Highway. The water Ski-World next door has hosted many shows with both local and international skiing competitions. The hotel has its own restaurant and sundowner bar facing onto the picturesque lake, where our guests can look out onto the relaxing water or watch the skiers on the water. We have a barge that can be hired out for company or corporate functions or even to host a small birthday or family celebration. The barge can accommodate 30 people maximum, and we can cater for such events.
