Its inhabitants call themselves 'Bali Aga' - Ancient inhabitants of Bali. .30 minutes drive to Karangasem with its Royal Palace * 45 minutes drive to the Tirtagangga Water Palace * 45 minutes drive to the towns of Klungkung, rich with testimonies of Balinese history such as the Kertha Gosa Hall of Justice and the nearby Balai Kambang or Floating Hall. *60 minutes drive to the mother temple of Besakih, the holiest site for the Balinese Hindu, perched on the slopes of the majestic Mount Agung. * 60 minutes drive to Tulamben diving site, where the wreck of the USS Liberty sunk 30 meters offshore and awaits your discovery. * 70 minutes drive to Kintamani and its Mount Batur, famous for a scenic view of the 14 km wide crater. Puri Bagus Candidasa beachfront is located at the easternmost resort area of Candidasa. From the International Airport, take the East direction through the new highway to Klungkung, passing the Goa Lawah Temple and Manggis village. About 10 minutes from Manggis we will arrive at the hotel. It only takes max. 1.5 hour
